Vast stretches of azaleas are in full bloom at the Dazhu Mountain Scenic Area in Qingdao West Coast New Area, Shandong province, blanketing the hillsides in a sea of bright colors.

The flowering season is expected to last until early May, with different varieties blooming in succession.
