Guizhou University opens campus cafeterias to public during summer
During the summer vacation, Guizhou University in southwestern China has opened its campus cafeterias to the public, serving affordable meals to students, tourists and migrant workers.
Photos posted on short video-sharing platform Douyin showed a bowl of minced pork noodles costing just 5 yuan ($0.74), with a generous portion of meat.
A university official explained that the cafeterias were opened during the summer to make dining more convenient for the public. The university plans to adjust the arrangement once students return to ensure it does not disrupt their studies or daily routines.
