Tang Dynasty aesthetics shine at Paris Fashion Week
Ren Chunmei, a Chinese designer and alumna of Xi'an Polytechnic University, presented 41 handcrafted haute couture gowns at Paris Fashion Week 2026 on Oct 2.
Drawing inspiration from the Tang culture, her designs integrate Tang Dynasty (618–907) murals, poetry, and ritual-musical forms into modern tailoring, showcasing the unique charm of Eastern aesthetics on the international stage.
